Polyvantis introduces 20-year written warranty for LEXAN multiwall sheet
POLYVANTIS is introducing and moving its standard limited written warranty period from 10 to 20 years to cover the essential properties on breakage and weathering of its LEXAN multiwall sheet. Field and laboratory weathering tests have shown that even after 20 years of outdoor use, Polyvantis’ multiwall sheets offer outstanding performance, which is unmatched in the industry.
The list of buildings where the LEXAN THERMOCLEAR sheet has been used for over 20 years continues to grow. Some of these buildings include Stadion Poljud, where the sheets have been in use since 1979, and the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where they have been used since 1995.
This extended warranty connects to the European Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) related to multiwall polycarbonate sheets for this longer guaranteed lifetime. This is a significant contribution to a circular economy (100% recyclable).
